Suspended or lateral structures for tunnel safety
Suspended or lateral escape routes are among the precast structures for tunnels, made of vibrated reinforced concrete, ensuring easy evacuation from tunnels in the event of an emergency. These precast escape routes come in various shapes, rectangular or trapezoidal, depending on the requirements, and are connected to the tunnel structure through tie rods or bolted plates.
In compliance with passive fire protection regulations, an area where Crezza offers consulting and supply services, the escape route structures can be further coated and protected with materials designed to reduce temperatures in case of a tunnel fire.
Reinforced Concrete Box Culverts
Precast concrete structures compliant with seismic regulations
Crezza also produces and installs precast reinforced concrete box culverts, widely used for the construction of underground road crossings, pedestrian underpasses, hydraulic conduits, and sewers.
These precast rectangular box structures are designed to withstand first-category loads and are sized according to both Italian and European seismic regulations, they also offer the option of surface coatings with variable heights.
The installation of concrete box culverts offers key advantages, including rapid installation—reducing open excavation times, and versatility.
